Adelaide finish up their weekend in the nation’s capital with a clash against the AIS on Saturday night. AIS have proven that they can go with the top teams in the League in patches, they just need to put the four quarters together to claim the victory that still eludes them.
Adelaide will be coming off a big loss to the Capitals the night before, this is now a game that they must win. They haven’t yet had to back up in a double-header this season so it’s the first opportunity we’ll have to see their endurance and staying quality. If they’re not up to the task, there could be an upset on the cards.
But Adelaide are not only a side with young legs, they’re a side with plenty of talent, and the prospect of either escaping the ACT with a double victory, or alternatively the opportunity to bounce back, will spur them on.
