Supercars are developing the Gen3 car, Where they are looking to change many of the components, so to update the technology, some to suit a new silhouette and all are hoped to reduce the cost of racing. But in business today we always hear the real cost is in the labour. So why hasn’t anyone looked at what you can do with technology to reduce the number of people required to work on the car at the race track and in the race.

We speak to a Driver, Engineer and Technical Director to find out their perspective of automation of the pitstop. Steven Richards is our Driver, Jeromy Moore is our Engineer and Michael Resl is the Sporting & Technical Director of the DTM championship.
