Ian Williams discusses the history of the Adelaide SuperKart Club, formed in 1971 as the Adelaide Kart Club. It was borne from members of the GoKart Club of South Australia in order to promote long circuit kart racing. The club’s home track is Mallala Motorsport Park, 55 kms north of Adelaide. The Mallala 2.7km layout with a variety of turns and straights make it the ideal racing venue for Superkarts.
