Young Ballarat charger Joe Fawcett has stamped his authority on the Mustang Cup, taking out the Dark Horse Junior class across a fast, disciplined weekend at Phillip Island.
Fawcett showed maturity well beyond his years, settling quickly into the rhythm of the Island and building speed with every session. His race craft was clean, confident, and decisive — exactly what’s needed around a circuit that rewards bravery and punishes hesitation.
